The ZEISS 18mm Supreme Prime T1.5 is a high-end, high-speed cinema lens that is both smaller and lighter, featuring a versatile image look ideal for use with the ARRI ALEXA MINI LF, RED MONSTRO VV 8K, Sony VENICE, and full frame/large-format LF digital cinema cameras. The Supreme Prime look is a notable departure from that of Master Primes, in that it is sharper while remaining organic, color-neutral, and quite forgiving overall (particularly when filming skin tones, thanks to redesigned contrast levels). Each Supreme Prime also features Cooke /i lens data system technology, compatible with ARRI, Red, Sony, Panasonic, and Canon PL/LPL mount cameras.

Covering a 46.3mm image circle, the Zeiss Supreme Prime 18mm T1.5 Lens can be used with full-frame and Super35 sensors. The internal focus design of this compact lens ensures minimal focus breathing. Additionally, the Zeiss eXtended Data system transfers lens data to a camera, Master Lockit, or select other devices via a LEMO cable connection to allow for the adjustment of distortion and shading. This can be done in real-time or with a variety of software. The lens has an interchangeable PL mount and is marked in feet.

The fast T1.5 aperture of the Supreme Prime 18mm lens allows for low-light capture, while smooth transitioning between in-focus and out-of-focus areas results in pleasing focus falloff and greater depth in the image. The lens has a 16-blade iris and smooth 300° focus rotation. The minimum focus distance is 14″. The 18mm is color-matched with the rest of the Supreme Prime lineup and shares many other consistent features, including standardized positioning of the focus and iris rings. The lens features a 114mm front to accommodate its fast aperture and also comes with a removable support foot with a 3/8″-16 mounting thread.
