The successor to the legendary Canon C300 has arrived with big shoes to fill! The Canon C300 MK II is a 4K camcorder available with either EF or PL lens mounts. Please specify your preference in advance. The C300 MKII is approved by the EBU (European Broadcast Union) and boasts 15 stops of dynamic range.

The C300 MKII features a DIGIC DV5 Super35 sensor with 8.85 megapixels, delivering an impressive 15 stops of dynamic range at 10-bit 4:2:2 up to 410Mbps. It uses XF-AVC (Intra and Long GOP) in an MXF wrapper, recording to lightning-fast CFast 2.0 cards.

Key Features:

• 4K Recording: The C300 MKII shoots 4K internally and offers 4K RAW recording externally (10-bit 4:4:4) to an Odyssey 7Q+ with a RAW license, both of which are available for additional hire. It can facilitate internal 4K recording and external 7Q+ 4K RAW recording simultaneously.
• High Speed / Slow Motion: The camera supports high-speed recording up to 120 fps.
• HD Recording: Regular 1920 x 1080 at 50Mbps HD recording is also available.
• Dynamic Range: Approved by the EBU with confirmed 15 stops of dynamic range.
• ND Filters: Features new and improved 5-stage internal optical ND filters ranging from 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 stops.
• ISO Range: The ISO range is equally impressive, ranging from 160 to 102,400 ISO.
• Autofocus Tracking: The C300 MKII offers reliable autofocus tracking, capable of tracking your selected subject from the background to the foreground or across the focal plane.
• LCD Monitor: The camera’s LCD monitor is a high-resolution 1.17-megapixel display with a 5000:1 contrast ratio, a significant increase from the original C300’s 270:1 contrast ratio. Additionally, it features a 1.55-megapixel EVF that is very sharp and bright.
